Route 95 provides the easiest access to the camp. At the Maine border, I-95 becomes the Maine Turnpike. Exit at Mile 48, at the Riverside Street exit (formerly exit 8). As you exit the highway, take a right and follow the signs to route 302 west. Continue on 302 until you reach route 121 in the town of Raymond. Turn right onto route 121 and continue for a mile and one-tenth. David Plumber Road will be on the right, along with the Camp Hawthorne sign. Follow the road for 1/4 of a mile through the woods. This will bring you to heart of the camp. We provide transportation to and from any Portland terminal. There is a charge of $25 each way for this service. |
